The goofy mic stand
for people who treat voice as input.
Most desk mics were designed for a different job. They want to be on a podcast. They take up half the desk. They scream "I am recording." A clip-on lav weighs 1 to 2 ounces and does the job better, quieter, and out of the way.
The problem is nothing was built to hold one. Every "mini tripod" on Amazon was engineered for a phone or a GoPro, which is why they look like little construction equipment. We took the constraint - 2 ounces, hanging cord, sit on a desk politely - and let the part collapse to something pocketable.
The harmonica variant is the same idea, applied to a person. If you do your best thinking pacing the kitchen, the mic should pace with you. You will look weird. You will prompt 3x faster. That is the trade.
For input-efficient humans.
That is who this is for.
